The Mezzaluna twin blade and cutting board from White Hat Chef makes quick work of mincing herbs, nuts, garlic, onions and much more. The recessed board prevents food from sliding away, and keeps it central for efficient cutting. The board and handles are made of acacia wood, a genuine renewable hard wood rich with natural oils that gives it a natural water resistance. Acacia wood is prized for it’s beauty and strength and is far superior to cheaper alternatives such as rubber wood and bamboo. The board itself has a thickness of 1 1/8” and weighs over 17oz, around 50% more wood than other brands. The blades are 11/16” apart which helps prevent food getting trapped in between the them. Their length is 5 5/8" Easy to clean; wash with warm water and dish detergent. For those with a passion for food this makes an excellent addition to the kitchen.
